Insured to £15,000
£15,000 goods-in-transit cover per van, plus public liability on every job. If something is damaged, you deal with us, not an insurer.
Storage
If completion slips or something doesn't fit, your things wait safely 0.7 miles away until you're ready.

A local firm since 1978. Still local today.
In the 1970s Steve Fanger, a Bristol musician, bought a van to get his band, The Vultures, to their gigs.
People kept asking him to help them move house, because he turned up when he said he would. By the summer of 1978 that had become Painless Removals. We've since moved grandparents, their children and now their grandchildren.
Who we are today
Sadly, Steve passed away in 2023. We're still independent, still Bristol-based, and still give the same service he started back in 1978.
Most of our crew are employed by us, not by an agency, and we pay above the industry average so good people stay. That's why you'll see the same faces from the survey to the last box.
